Ascended Life and Professions
Constellangels are able to wield a wide variety of magic and use a multitude of weapons - when a Constellangel masters a skill, they are considered a 'professional'. Constellangels can master multiple professions with training, time, and natural talent. The Ascended society has had thousands of years to form, and many Constellangels have translated certain professions from their human life they deem necessary - and some new ones. Any profession can be learned by a Constellangel granted they have the required toolset. The Academy of Fine Magic in Elysia helps some hone their craft, though there are some that are self taught as well.
The professions below are not the only ones in existence in the Zenith, just some of the most notable.
Scholars
Scholars are dedicated to the knowledge of the realm of the Zenith and the many others existing through space and time. They are often researchers and inventors, discovering new ways to expand upon the magic within the Zenith while preserving it.
Tinkerers can help create new weapons and armor for other Constellangels and themselves with their knowledge of imbuing inanimate objects with magic.
Seers
These Constellangels hold wisdom beyond their years and are considered somewhat holy relics in the Zenith, passing down the knowledge of the stars to fellow Constellangels through the use of time and space magic. Seers possess a special attunement with the sky above, training and meditating for decades to become conduits of celestial knowledge.
Tamers
Tamers are talented Constellangels that are able to fuse their minds with that of their faithful pets. These pets can be tamed from the wilds of Zenith, or conjured by an animancer or necromancer. Being as one allows for quick and versatile style of combat and the ability to attack from multiple angles. While this soul bond can be beneficial, if the pet suffers mortal damage, the Tamer will feel it just the same as the pet's soul is ripped from their own.
Bards
Bards are so much more than talented minstrels and musicians. Bards are able fuse music and magic and use the power of sound to imbue their allies and damage their enemies. Tools as a bards disposal include - their voice, musical instruments, and dance.
Healer
Healers are talented Constellangels blessed with the ability to reverse wounds and reinforce the bodies and magic of other Constellangels and themselves. Healers often draw their restorative energy from the natural attunement to the constellation they are blessed by, though there are some that use alternative approaches to achieve the same healing properties.
Bulwark
Bulwarks are special magic users, who instead of channeling their magic outward, whether it be elemental, healing, etc., they instead have learned to channel it through their veins, bolstering their strength to be far greater than your average Constellangel.
This profession takes much practice, as too much magic channeled in an area at once can cause limbs to be permanently damaged.
