The Existence of Constellangels

Stars have an ancient magic many scholars spend years studying. When the realms were torn apart by Zenith, magic scattered across the galaxy and took refuge within the stars. Constellations bridge together magic that was once thought to be lost, only able to be obtained by the souls of former humans.

When a human dies, the soul passes through the magical bridges between the stars, not unsimilar to the roots of a tree - connecting us all together. The blessing of the constellations seek those whose hearts align best with them. The stars are not biased, they do not see good or evil. They see potential, raw willpower, and bless those they deem worthy. It is the individual that decides whether they are on the side of the Ascended or their counterparts, the Fallen.
